YIT EXPANDS ITS RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION IN RUSSIA TO KAZAN
YIT is following through on its strategy by expanding residential construction in Russia to another city with a population of over one million. The St. Petersburg- based local subsidiary ZAO YIT Lentek has got its first plot in Kazan. Housing construction is slated to begin next year.
At the end of the first quarter, YIT had 5,630 residential units under construction in Russia. YIT estimates that it will start up the construction of over 2,500 residential units in Russia this year.
