Urban development

The future is in cities

As an urban developer, we create vibrant, sustainable and attractive urban environments.

Urban development brings daily services close to people

In a functioning city, everyday life is safe, comfortable and easy. Living, working, services, hobbies, mobility and attractive urban spaces are all connected and close to the citizens, not forgetting the urban nature.

Better living environments in a sustainable way

Sustainability is at the heart of our business. We develop solutions based on the circular economy and reduce the carbon footprint of construction, for example through our choice of materials and work methods. Intelligent systems represent the cutting edge of modern building technology, offering new opportunities to improve energy efficiency, safety and comfort. We also work to protect biodiversity through restoration and regeneration.

Urban fallows often refer to old office and industrial buildings in prime locations where a major transformation project is in the works.

A good example of this is YIT's block in Vallila, which has big plans for the future, but which offers premises to interesting operators during the development phase - while also increasing the area's awareness.

Large urban development projects

Large urban development projects can combine housing, office buildings, commercial premises, public services and public transport, without forgetting a high-quality urban environment. Attractive locations include station areas, inner city districts and old industrial sites.

Each project is unique, and with our long experience and diverse expertise, we can handle even the most complex projects, from conception to maintenance. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and understanding their needs and wishes is crucial to the success of every project.

Our projects under development

Tampere Asemakeskus

The strategic, central location of Tampere Travel and Service Centre, at the heart of the city and a transport hub, offers strong development potential. The area will become the new beating heart of the city, serving as an attractive workplace and residential area, as well as a living room and meeting place for residents.
