 SUBSCRIPTION FOR YIT SHARES BY EXERCISING THE SERIES C, D AND E SHARE OPTIONS FROM APRIL 3 TO APRIL 24, 2006

The Series C share options that YIT Corporation issued in 2002 were made available for trading on the Main List of Helsinki Stock Exchange as from April 1, 2004, the Series D share options as from April 1, 2005, and the Series E share options issued in 2004 as from April 3, 2006.

From April 3 to April 24, 2006 a total of 57,280 YIT shares were subscribed for on the basis of the Series C share options, a total of 285,700 shares on the basis of the Series D share options and a total of 67,500 shares on the basis of the Series E share options.

Each Series C and D share option entitles its bearer to subscribe for four and each Series E share option for two YIT Corporation shares having a nominal value of EUR 0.50. The subscription price with the Series C options is EUR 3.2725 per share, with the Series D options EUR 2.9225 per share and with the Series E options EUR 6.80 per share.

The increase in the share capital as a consequence of these share subscriptions, EUR 205,240, is to be entered in the Trade Register on April 28, 2006.
