SUBSCRIPTION FOR YIT SHARES BY EXERCISING THE 1998 SERIES A AND B SHARE OPTIONS
Through the exercise of the 1998 Series A share options a total of 46,750 YIT Corporation shares have been subscribed for during the period October 28 - November 28, 2003. A total of 73,429 YIT shares were subscribed for on the basis of the series B share options during the same period. In accordance with the terms and conditions of the share option programme, the last subscription day for both the series A and Series B share options was November 28, 2003.
The increase in the share capital as a consequence of these share subscriptions, EUR 240,358, is to be entered in the Trade Register on December 4, 2003.
