SARI BALDAUF NOMINATED TO YIT CORPORATIONS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
YIT Corporation shareholders who control over 25 per cent of voting rights will propose to YITs Annual General Meeting, which will be held on March 13, 2006, that the following persons be elected to the Board of Directors: Sari Baldauf, M.Sc.
(Econ.), Eino Halonen, managing director, Reino Hanhinen, M.Sc.
(Eng.), Antti Herlin, Chairman of Board of Directors, and Teuvo Salminen, Deputy CEO. With the exception of Sari Baldauf, the nominees are currently members of YITs Board of Directors. All the nominees have given their consent.
Sari Baldauf has served as the executive vice president and general manager of Networks, Nokia Corporation, from 1998-2005, and as a member of the Nokia Group Executive Board from 19942005. Prior to these positions, she served as executive vice president, Nokia APAC (Asia Pacific), and as president of Nokia Telecommunications, Cellular Systems.
The present member of the Board, Ilkka Brotherus, has announced that he is no longer available, having been elected as chairman of the Board of Finndomo Oy in January.
