YIT announces new strategy and financial targets for 2025-2029, introduces a new segment structure

PROPOSAL ON THE COMPOSITION OF YIT'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
It will be proposed to YIT Corporation's Annual General Meeting on March 16, 2005, that the number of members of the Board of Directors be set at five.
Shareholders representing over 30% of all of the company's votes have announced that, at the Annual General Meeting, they will table a motion for setting the number of Board members at five. The same parties have proposed that the following persons, all of whom have given their consent, be elected to seats on the Board: Ilkka Brotherus, managing director of Sinituote Oy, Eino Halonen, managing director of Suomi Mutual Life Assurance Company, Reino Hanhinen, Group CEO of YIT Corporation, Antti Herlin, chairman of the Board of Directors of Kone Corporation and Teuvo Salminen, deputy CEO of Jaakko Pöyry Group Oyj. All the aforementioned persons are currently members of YIT Corporation's Board of Directors.
The same parties have proposed that PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy, Authorized Public Accountants be elected to audit the administration and accounts in 2005.
