 PETRA THORÉN APPOINTED YIT CORPORATION’S VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTOR RELATIONS

Petra Thorén, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed YIT Corporation’s Vice President, Investor Relations as of January 1, 2006. She has been the Corporation’s Investor Relations Manager since 2002.

Petra Thorén will be responsible for the YIT Group’s investor relations and participate in preparatory work on matters related to the Group’s strategy, risk management and M&A arrangements.  Ms Thorén will report to Group CEO Hannu Leinonen.
