NOTIFICATION ON A CHANGE IN HOLDINGS REFERRING TO CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9, OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKETS ACT

YIT Corporation has today received from the Tapiola Group a notification, pursuant to the Finnish Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Section 9, according to which the holding of shares by the Tapiola Group in YIT Corporation has fallen below one twentieth (1/20) of YIT Corporation’s share capital and voting rights.

When applying the regulations concerning the obligation to disclose holdings, Tapiola General Mutual Insurance Company, Tapiola Mutual Life Assurance Company and Tapiola Corporate Life Insurance Company Ltd form an entity, whose holdings of voting rights and share capital, as well as holdings of the mutual funds administrated by Tapiola Fund Management Company Ltd, are combined.
