Leif S. Gustafsson to be president of YIT Sverige AB
On this day, YIT Sverige ABs Board of Directors has appointed Leif S. Gustafsson, 39 years old, B.Sc. (Civ. Eng.), as the companys new president. He is the successor of Kari Kallio, who will become the president and CEO of Ramirent. The Board of Directors also appointed Håkan Bergkvist as the companys executive vice president. Bergkvist will stay on as the director of the companys piping systems division.
Leif S. Gustafsson currently serves as the director of YIT Sverige ABs electrical systems division. From 2000 onwards, Gustafsson was the director of the ABB Contracting AB division in the Stockholm area. In 2003, he was appointed as the director of YITs Swedish electrical systems division, responsible for the entire Sweden-wide regional network. Among other positions, Gustafsson has previously served as the managing director of Alfa Skop Teknik AB. He also has experience of the construction business from his time in the employ of Skanska and BPA. Leif S. Gustafsson is married and has two children.
