YIT announces new strategy and financial targets for 2025-2029, introduces a new segment structure

INCREASE IN YITS SHARE CAPITAL AS A CONSEQUENCE OF SHARE SUBSCRIPTIONS WITH THE SERIES C AND THE SERIES D SHARE OPTIONS FROM 2002
After the previous entry in the Trade Register on May 6, 2005 a total of 102,800 YIT shares were subscribed for on the basis of the Series C share options and a total of 222,738 shares on the basis of the Series D share options by June 15, 2005. The increase in the share capital as a consequence of these share subscriptions, totalling EUR 325,538, was entered in the Trade Register on June 27, 2005. Following the increase, YITs share capital is EUR 61,999,098 and the number of shares outstanding is 61,999,098. The nominal value of the share is one euro.
The new shares confer all shareholder rights as from the date of registration, June 27, 2005, and they will be accepted for public trading on Helsinki Stock Exchange together with the existing shares. The objective is that trading in the shares will commence on June 28, 2005.
A total of 450,000 Series C share options and a total of 950,000 Series D share options have been issued. Each share option entitles its bearer to subscribe for two YIT Corporation shares (YTY1V). All in all, a maximum of 2,800,000 shares can be subscribed for with the share options. Accordingly, the share capital can be increased by a maximum of EUR 2,800,000. The subscription price with the Series C options is EUR 6.545 per share and with the Series D options EUR 5.845 per share.
The shares can be subscribed for annually during the period from April 1 - November 30. The subscription period for the Series C share options began on April 1, 2004, and for the Series D share options on April 1, 2005. Both subscription periods end on November 30, 2006.
Subscriptions will be accepted at Nordea Bank Finland plcs investment advisory branches.
By June 15, 2005, a total of 539,804 shares have been subscribed for with the 2002 Series C share options and a total of 412,544 with the Series D share options. Max. 360,196 shares can be subscribed for with the remaining Series C share options and max.
1,487,456 shares with the remaining Series D share options.
In 2005, it is intended that the increases in the share capital on the basis of the subscriptions will be carried out as follows:
