YIT announces new strategy and financial targets for 2025-2029, introduces a new segment structure

INCREASE IN YIT'S SHARE CAPITAL AS A CONSEQUENCE OF SHARE SUBSCRIPTIONS WITH SHARE OPTIONS
From April 1 to April 18, 2008 a total of 1,000 YIT shares were subscribed for on the basis of the Series K share options, a total of 2,100 YIT shares on the basis of the Series L share options and a total of 2,450 YIT shares on the basis of the Series M share options. The subscription price is used in full to increase the share capital. The increase in the share capital as a consequence of these share subscriptions, EUR 111,981.50, was entered in the Trade Register on April 29, 2008. Following the increase, YIT's share capital is EUR 149,216,748.22 and the number of shares outstanding is 127,223,422.
The new shares confer all shareholder rights as from the date of registration, April 29, 2008, and they will be accepted for public trading on OMX Nordic Exchange in Helsinki together with the existing shares. The objective is that trading in the shares will commence on April 30, 2008.
In 2008 YIT Corporation shares can be subscribed for on the basis of Series K, L and M share options issued in 2006. Max. 236,600 shares can still be subscribed for with Series K share options, max. 590,000 shares with Series L share options and max. 731,790 shares with Series M share options.
Each Series K, L and M share option entitles its bearer to subscribe for one YIT Corporation share. The subscription price with the Series K and L options is EUR 20.53 per share and with the Series M options EUR 19.73 per share.
