ANTTI NURMINEN TO BE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF YIT PRIMATEL LTD AS FROM JULY 1, 2005
Antti Nurminen (44 years old), Lic. (Tech.), has been appointed as the managing director of YIT Primatel Ltd, which provides data network services. He will start out in his new position on July 1, 2005. The present managing director, Hannu Leinonen, will become the Group CEO of YIT Corporation as from January 1, 2006, and will step down from his current position to start preparing for his new appointment as from July 1, 2005.
Antti Nurminen has been in YIT Primatel Ltds employ since 2002.
Since the beginning of 2005, he has headed the Support Functions and Development unit, prior to which he served as the business manager of the Mobile Network business.
Nurminen also has prior experience of the network business from Skanska Telecom Networks and of data networks from Yleisradio, the Finnish public service broadcasting company. He has around 10 years of experience in international operations, from the Netherlands, Belgium, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe.
