YIT to build a senior centre for the city of Espoo

YIT has signed an agreement to build a senior centre in the neighbourhood of Leppävaara, Espoo to Espoo Life and Living Ltd, a company fully owned by the city of Espoo. The construction will start in the beginning of 2015, and the project will be completed in late 2016. The total value of the contract is over EUR 20 million.

The senior centre called ‘Life and Living’ will host 140 small apartments for seniors in poor health. In addition, an open service centre with a restaurant and a home care support office, among other things, will be constructed on the ground floor.
