YIT to execute a housing company for TA-Yhtymä in Kera, Espoo

YIT and TA-Yhtymä have signed an agreement on the construction of an ARA-funded Asunto Oy Espoon Kipsimestari in Kera, Espoo. The company consists of two apartment buildings, in addition, the sale of the plot is included in the transaction. The apartments contracted for the TA-Yhtymä are part of the developing Kera. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 12 million and it will be recorded in the order book of the last quarter of the year.

The project covers a total of approximately 3,700 square meters of floor space and 48 apartments will be built for the company. The majority of the apartments are family apartments that open in two directions. All apartments have their own glazed balcony. A bicycle maintenance room and a recycling room for shared use throughout the block will also be implemented in the housing company. The site is the second project implemented by YIT in the Kera area.

Kera forms a communal and village-like entity – a new kind of urban space built for encounters. Kera with clean and smart technology is the city district of the future for both residents and businesses.
