YIT to build office, sales and warehouse project for SBA Urban in Vilnius, Lithuania

YIT and SBA Urban, a Lithuanian real estate development and investment company have signed a general contract for the construction of the office, sales and warehouse project Urban HUB in Lithuanian capital Vilnius. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 23 million, and it will be recorded in the order book for the third quarter of 2023. The construction works are planned to be started in July 2023 and the project is scheduled to be completed in the mid-2024.

Urban HUB Vilnius will provide approximately 22.000 m2 leasable space. The property will contain flexible warehousing, showroom, and office spaces suited for a wide array of tenants engaged in e-commerce, retail, wholesale, logistics, and various other businesses.

Urban HUB Vilnius will achieve the highest A++ energy efficiency class, and targets BREEAM In-Use Excellent environmental certification. The project includes 340 parking spaces, 68 of which are for electric cars with dedicated charging stations. YIT is building a similar complex for SBA Urban in Kaunas, which was disclosed in early May 2023.
