 YIT TO BUILD FACILITIES FOR INSTRU IN SINIMÄKI IN ESPOO, FINLAND                

YIT will build new facilities for Instru Optiikka Oy in Sinimäki in Espoo,       Finland. The project will include some 1,200 m2 of warehouse facilities and      1,900 m2 of office space. Instru Optiikka will move to the new facilities in May 2010. Also Swarco Finland Oy has leased new facilities in Sinimäki.             

Owned by the Tapiola Group, the building has a gross floor area of about 18,200  m2, and its renovation work is already partly finished. In addition to the       renovation, YIT will be responsible for renting the facilities.  A number of     companies have already moved into the building, including Karelia-Upofloor, a    flooring manufacturer; Hovila Oy, an importer of fixtures and building fittings; Eastway Sound & Lighting Oy, a public and business event organiser; and          Documentus Oy, a specialist in document management and archiving. The            responsible developer is Kiinteistö-Tapiola Oy.                                 

- The facilities at Sinimäentie have aroused broad interest, and most of them    have already been rented. The area along Turunväylä will be developed            considerably in the near future so we expect that demand will continue to be     keen, says Mia Halttunen, YIT's Account Manager, who is responsible for renting  the site.                                                                       

New facilities also to be constructed in Sinimäki                               

In addition to the renovation project, a 3,500 m2 extension will be built on the property, including customised logistics and warehouse premises and office       space.
