YIT’s Estonian subsidiary, YIT Ehitus has started the construction of an apartment building in the historic district of Tiigiveski in Central Tallinn, Estonia. The value of the Tiigiveski project is approximately EUR 10 million, and it is estimated to be completed by the autumn 2015.

The seven-storey apartment building will consist of around 80 apartments with a total floor area of 4,500 square meters ranging from studios to four room apartments. Underground parking facilities will also be included. The building has been designed by Estonian architect Urmas Muru.

“The design of the project is modern and special attention has been paid to practical planning solutions. We believe that the demand for the apartments will be on a good level thanks to the effective design and the excellent location in a popular area in Central Tallinn in the immediate vicinity of Kalev Sports Hall”, says Margus Põim, General Director of YIT Ehitus.
