 YIT SELLS AN OFFICE BUILDING IN THE AVIAPOLIS AREA VANTAA, FINLAND TO A GERMAN PROPERTY INVESTOR 

According to the agreement signed between YIT Rakennus Oy and IVG Institutional Funds GmbH on 11 February 2010, YIT will sell the Avia Line II property located in Vantaa, Finland to IVG. The total sales price of the property is approximately EUR 8 million. The construction of the property, which has a floor area of some 3 000 m2, has already started and the work will be completed in December 2010. IVG Institutional Funds also owns the first phase of the Avia Line office park. 

The main tenants in the property will be Philips Oy, a company operating in the well-being and electronics sectors, and Geotrim Oy, which specialises in surveying, construction measurements and GPS positioning. 

The office properties in Avia Line make up a complex of four buildings that will have some 12 000 m2 of office space when completed. The first phase was completed about a year ago, and tenant acquisition for the next phases will begin in spring 2010. 

Avia Line II will be implemented in accordance with YIT's Energianero (Energy genius) concept, in which the building's energy efficiency in terms of the use of the property is taken into consideration in the design and construction solutions. 

Aviapolis is the fastest-growing concentration of business in the Helsinki metropolitan area. It is a dynamic centre of international trade emerging around the Helsinki Airport.
