YIT has won several infrastructure contracts in Lithuania

YIT has signed several infrastructure contracts in Lithuania. The total value of these contracts is over 20 MEUR, which has been entered in the order book in the third quarter of the year.

YIT is constructing a two-level intersection, repairs gravel roads, reconstructs the road between Skuodas-Plungė and 30 kilometers of the main highway A1.

“The Vilnius-Kaunas-Klaipėda highway, A1, is one of the most important transport connections in Lithuania. The average traffic intensity reaches around 13,000 vehicles per day. Deep ruts have formed in the sections under reconstruction. There is also damage to the road surface, which must be removed to ensure safe and comfortable driving conditions on the road,” says YIT Lietuva General Manager Kęstutis Vanagas.
