YIT CONTINUED ITS AGREEMENTS WITH COMMERZBANK AND LEIBNIZ-RECHENZENTRUM (LRZ) IN GERMANY

YIT Germany GmbH has made two service agreements. Commerzbank has renewed its facility services contract for the Gallileo Tower in Frankfurt, while Leibniz-Rechenzentrum (LRZ) is continuing its contract and expanding it to include facility services also at LRZ II building in Garching near Munich. Both agreements contribute to increasing YIT’s service business turnover in line with the company’s strategy.

Commerzbank extended its facility management contract for the Gallileo Tower a further three years, as YIT’s exemplary services and low-energy building operations speak for themselves. In addition to providing 24-hour emergency service, five service employees are on-site to oversee all the technical systems throughout the 38-story building. YIT ensures sustainable operations, complemented by exceptional system maintenance services. Alongside standard office space, the building also houses a bar and the English Theatre on the first floor – two units with exceptional requirements.

Leibniz-Rechenzentrum in Garching signed a new facility management contract with YIT Germany, thus extending its existing contract another five years. The consistently high quality of YIT’s services prompted the client to expand its contract to include the newly built LRZ II. YIT’s aim is to use energy efficiently in order to maintain low operating and energy costs over the long term. The building’s new high-temperature SuperMUC supercomputer requires a constant supply of cooling fluid, representing an exciting challenge for YIT.
