YIT COMMISSIONED A NEW RESIDENTIAL HOUSE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE IN SHCHELKOVO, RUSSIA

YIT Moskovia put into operation residential house №7 a few months ahead of the plan in micro district Finsky in the city of Shchelkovo in Moscow region, Russia. The new house comprises 4 sections, 14 floors and 276 apartments of various sizes. In addition to residential units, the project included a wide range of office premises located on the ground floor and non-residential extension of 4 floors for shops, offices and consumer service enterprises. Total area of the commissioned housing amounts to 16,000 sq m. and non-residential area to 1,300 sq m.

“Customer care is the number one priority for us. We use the best efforts in order to justify customer confidence through control over the quality of works at all stages, compliance with the construction schedule and exceeding the obligations. It may be said that working ahead of schedule has become our common practice. This house is not the first one which was commissioned earlier than planned and surely not the last one”, stated Valery Kim, General Director of YIT Moskovia.

Commissioning of the house does not mean the end of relations between customers and the company, because YIT’s own maintenance company is engaged in service and maintenance of buildings constructed in the micro district.

The new house is the second one constructed by YIT Moskovia within the complex development project of Finsky micro district. Two high-rise buildings are still under construction. In the spring 2012 the company is planning to start construction of 400 apartments. Construction of a kindergarten is also part of developing the infrastructure in the micro district.

YIT Moskovia pays great attention to development of territories, including construction of premises and buildings for commercial and social purposes. Also Shchelkovo will offer a full range of infrastructural elements required for comfortable living. It is planned to construct the following facilities: school, kindergarten, trade and entertainment centre, medical centre and pharmacy, arrange the dry cleaning pick-up point, post office and bank, and other consumer service enterprises. The micro district will have children play-fields and sports-grounds and recreation areas for adults. There will be guest parking and 5 underground garages, that will be built close to the trade and office centres and include 1,200 parking spaces.
