 YIT AND STATOIL MADE FRAME AGREEMENT ON MAINTENANCE OF OFFICE BUILDINGS IN       NORWAY                                                                          

YIT has entered into a frame agreement with Statoil for the delivery of services within operation and maintenance of Statoil's office buildings in Norway. The agreement includes more than 400,000 square metres of building area. The agreement is valid for 3 years with an option for one additional year. The agreement includes deliveries within ventilation, piping and electrical work, as well as outdoor spaces and building maintenance.

The operation and maintenance agreement with YIT shall contribute to reach Statoil's main vision for tomorrow's modern arenas for cooperation. Statoil's office buildings shall promote efficiency, well-being and good health. At the same time the buildings shall promote sustainable development through energy efficient and environmental solutions with a competitive cost level.

YIT has extensive experience with operation and maintenance of building's and its technical installations. YIT has service as a main strategy in Building and Industrial Services.

- The agreement is of considerable strategically importance for both YIT in Norway and internationally, says President of YIT AS in Norway, Trygve B. Thøgersen. - In 2009 Statoil awarded YIT in Norway a contract for handling and operation of ICT equipment to the value of approx. EUR 60 million. This new agreement is considerably larger, and therefore we perceive the new agreement as a confirmation of the quality of our previous work for Statoil, says Thøgersen.
