Office property at Lönnrotinkatu 11 reaches its final height

YIT is renovating the office building at Lönnrotinkatu 11 in central Helsinki into a modern and functional property. The renovation project has now reached the topping out phase. YIT will renovate all the facades, interiors and building systems, making the property fit for today’s business requirements. The renovation will notably improve the energy efficiency of the building, and the plan is to apply for the LEED environmental certificate for the property. The owner of the property is OP Vuokratuotto special investment fund. 

Lönnrotinkatu 11 will eventually house 3,800 m2 of office space on five floors and 430 m2 of commercial space on the ground floor. The property also offers private parking space for 40 cars on the premises, which is rare in central Helsinki. The property is furnished with state-of-the-art structures and materials and smart technical solutions. The flexible facilities and solutions are easy to adapt to different needs and customer-specific demands. In addition to modern office space, the building offers on the ground floor cafés and other services for the tenants.  

YIT’s renovation is within schedule, and the property will welcome its first tenants in October. The anchor tenant will be law firm Lexia.
