YIT to supply power and lighting to Odenplan station on Stockholm City Line, Sweden

The contract systems, which also include a high voltage system and a joint reserve power system for the stations Stockholm City and Odenplan, will be installed along a 2000-metre stretch of railway track. YIT will also manage the installation of the power, telecommunications, security, ventilation, plumbing and sprinkler systems for the bike garage that will be located adjacent to Odenplan station.

The Stockholm City Line is a six-kilometre underground railway line, with two stations between Tomteboda and Stockholm South. The contract for the station Stockholm Odenplan is the second that YIT is carrying out for the Swedish Transport Administration in connection with the construction of the City Line. The company has previously been awarded the construction planning contract for the ventilation, sprinkler and plumbing systems at the Stockholm City station.
