YIT has signed a contract on the renovation of the K2 city block with Senate Properties

YIT has started the construction of the first Tripla apartments in Pasila in Helsinki, Finland. The first project to be construct is Asunto Oy Helsingin Fredika, which will be completed by 2019. Fredika comprises of 111 apartments with selling price of approximately EUR 40 million in total. The start-ups have been recorded in the last quarter of the year. The pre-marketing of the apartments started at the end of November, and the demand exceeded expectations.
YIT will construct four housing co-operatives in the western block of Tripla and close to its services. The block will offer a comfortable residents’ park and the inhabitant’s shared village hall. The shops of the Mall of Tripla, business premises and a hotel will be located in the middle block. The eastern block will comprise of the renewed train station, stores and office premises. Pasila will become another centre of Helsinki and an even more important transportation hub that is expected to double its resident and job numbers by 2040.
YIT has also started the construction of a residential project close by in the Konepaja area in Vallila in Helsinki, Finland. The project called Asunto Oy Helsingin Emil will comprise of 88 apartments with selling price of approximately EUR 30 million in total. The start-ups have been recorded in the last quarter of the year and the project will be completed in the autumn 2019.
