YIT to sell an office and logistics property in Vantaa to a fund managed by Aberdeen

YIT has signed an agreement to sell an office and logistics property located in Viinikkala, Vantaa, to the property capital fund Aberdeen Property Fund Finland I Ky, which is managed by Aberdeen Asset Management. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 13 million. The project will be completed at the end of 2016.

The office and logistics project K3 Biisoni represents the Work & Trade concept developed by YIT that provides diverse combined facilities to small and medium-sized companies. Work & Trade Biisoni is located in the K3 Logistics area owned by YIT between Ring Road III and Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The total floor area of the building is 8,500 square metres and its anchor tenant will be Movetec Oy.

“Cooperation with the anchor tenant Movetec Oy and Aberdeen, who represents the investor, has been carried out in a good spirit. This project is doing its part to complete the extensive K3 workplace area where there will be more interesting projects in the next few years,” says Heikki Lähdesniemi, Project Development Manager from YIT.
