YIT to execute apartment buildings for TA

YIT and TA-Asumisoikeus Oy as well as TA-Yhtymä Oy have agreed on three ARA-funded apartment building projects in Helsinki, Joensuu and Tampere. The total value of the contracts is approximately EUR 28 million and it is recorded in the order book of the third quarter of the year.

Kiinteistö Oy Helsingin Saarni will be built in Helsinki, in the Haaga district. The gross floor area of the project is approximately 2,600 square meters. There will be 39 apartments that are ecologically heated with geothermal heat. Construction will begin in September 2024 and the work is expected to be completed in August 2025. Kiinteistö Oy Helsingin Saarni shares a common block yard with the neighbouring houses.

Asumisoikeus Oy Joensuun Tulliportinkatu 7b and c will be built in the district of Otsola in Joensuu, in the residential area of Tulliportti. The contract includes two blocks of flats with a gross floor area of approximately 4,200 square meters and 46 apartments. Construction will begin in September 2024 and the work is expected to be completed in October 2025. The flats share a common block yard with the neighbouring house. 

Asumisoikeus Oy Tampereen Tohlopinranta 29 will be built in the new residential area of Tohlopinranta in Tampere. The gross floor area of the 8-storey residential building located on the southern shore of Lake Tohloppijärvi is approximately 2,550 square meters and there will be 34 apartments in the building. Construction will begin in September 2024 and the work is expected to be completed in September 2025. A yard area for shared use and a parking garage serving residents will be built with the neighbouring house later.
