YIT to build the foundations of 47 wind power plants for TuuliWatti in Simo, Raahe and Kalajoki

YIT has signed contract agreements with TuuliWatti Oy on the implementation of the foundations for 47 wind power plants in Simo, Raahe and Kalajoki, Finland. The total power of the plants is approximately 160 MW and their annual electricity production corresponds to the consumption of 220,000 apartments.

The construction work in Kalajoki will start in summer 2015 and, in Simo and Raahe, the construction will start in spring 2016. The construction work will be completed in its entirety by the end of 2016. The foundations to be built now are part of the framework agreement signed by YIT and TuuliWatti Oy, the aim of which is to build foundations for approximately 90 wind power plants.
