YIT started several residential construction projects in January–March 2022

YIT started several residential apartment building projects in Finland and the CEE countries in January-March 2022.

The largest of the new projects in Finland and the CEE countries included As Oy Espoon Harmaaniitty, As Oy Hämeenlinnan Tempo, As Oy Helsingin Gunnel, As Oy Helsingin Berkka, As Oy Tampereen Kanavansilta, as well as the 10th phase of the Piliamiestis project in Kaunas, Lithuania, and Magnolia 2 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The total value of the aforementioned largest projects is close to EUR 130 million. The start-ups of the apartments are booked in the order book of the first quarter of the year.

The single-family houses of As Oy Espoon Harmaaniitty are located in Tillinmäki, right next to Central Park. The housing company consists of terraced and semi-detached houses and one detached house. Comprising just over 30 homes, the site will be completed in summer 2023.

As Oy Hämeenlinnan Tempo is located in the milieu of a historical railway station in Asemanranta. The site is bordered by the inner city, the railway station, the national urban park and lake Vanajavesi. The housing company comprises nearly 40 apartments to be completed in the late summer of 2023.

As Oy Helsingin Gunnel is the fourth and last residential building in the Arte block of Arabianranta, where the unique works of artists decorate the facades of the buildings. It comprises about 70 apartments, which will be completed in autumn 2023.

As Oy Helsingin Berkka will be built in Alppiharju, near Kallio. The traditional attic floor of Berkka will have unique loft apartments with rooftop terraces. The housing company comprises just over 30 apartments to be completed in autumn 2023.

As Oy Tampereen Kanavansilta is located in Ranta-Tampella, in the Kanavakortteli residential block on the shores of lake Näsijärvi. The housing company comprises just over 80 apartments to be completed in the winter of 2024.

Magnolia 2 is part of the extensive Nuppu project, which is YIT’s largest area development project in Bratislava’s Ruzinov district, 10 minutes from the city centre. Comprising nearly 100 apartments, Magnolia 2 will be completed in summer 2023.

Piliamiestis is an area development project in Kaunas, Lithuania, along the river Neris. The 10th phase of the project will be completed in the summer of 2023, comprising just over 100 apartments.
