YIT launched residential construction project As Oy Espoon Tuultentietäjä in Tapiola

YIT has launched a self-developed residential construction project called As Oy Espoon Tuultentietäjä in Tapiola, Espoo in December. A total of 78 apartments will be constructed for the project. The value of the project is approximately EUR 47 million, and it has been recorded in the order book for the fourth quarter of the year 2022. The building is scheduled for completion in early 2024.

As Oy Espoon Tuultentietäjä will be part of Tapiola’s Tuultenristi block. Tuultentietäjä is located above a metro station and bus terminal next to the Ainoa shopping centre, at the heart of the urban centre’s diverse services and cultural events.

The high-quality apartment building homes offer many everyday luxuries, such as underfloor heating and cooling, a well-equipped open-plan kitchen and a rainfall shower and wall-mounted toilet in the bathroom. Water fixtures are water-saving and apartment-specific water consumption can be monitored in the YIT Plus service. YIT’s Valvomo-service takes for example care of the energy-efficient use of ventilation and heating. The apartment-specific ventilation system includes heat recovery.

The residents of Tuultentietäjä and the adjoining building have access to an elegant lounge, a sauna with terraces and two courtyards with play and fitness areas. A private covered garage space is also available for cars and all parking spaces include the option to install a charging point for an electric vehicle. The site electricity used during the construction is generated by wind power. Guided by the carbon footprint calculation, materials with a lower environmental impact have been chosen for the project.
