YIT wins the competition for the safest site of the westward metro line
The access tunnel project in Matinkylä has won the competition for the safest site of the westward metro line. In the period under review from January to June 2011, there were zero accidents and incidents at YIT's Matinkylä excavation site. Länsimetro Oy arranges the competition every six months, and all of the ongoing projects of the westward metro line participate.
