YIT has signed a contract for renovation of a shopping centre in Vilnius, Lithuania

YIT and Lithuanian JSC Limada have signed a tender based contract for renovation of a shopping centre named Mada in Vilnius, Lithuania. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 47 million which will be recorded in the order book of the second quarter of the year.

The scope of the project is approximately 43 000 square meters and it consists of renovation of the shopping centre building and a construction of a parking lot area. After the renovation the building will meet energy class A requirements.

The project planning and design phase starts in March 2025. The construction works will be started in September 2025, and the work is scheduled to be completed in August 2027.
