YIT expands its operations into facilities management and property maintenance in Rostov-on-Don, Russia

YIT Group’s Russian subsidiary YIT DON has acquired the facilities management and property maintenance company Vesta in Rostov-on-Don, southern Russia. The purchase agreement came into force in December 2012. Following the acquisition, the new name of the company is YIT Don Serviсe. The maintenance company currently has 10 employees. The number of personnel will increase already this year with new maintenance projects.

YIT Don Service is currently responsible for the management and property maintenance of the Zapadnaya zvezda residential block constructed by YIT Don. YIT Don Service will manage and maintain all future residential projects constructed by YIT Group’s Russian subsidiary, YIT Don, in Rostov-on-Don.

With the acquisition of the facilities management and property maintenance company, we will be able to offer our customers even better services that match modern requirements for the phase following the purchase of the residential unit.
