YIT constructs an office building in Bratislava, Slovakia

YIT has signed a contract with a real estate developer AMW Development on the construction of an office building in Bratislava, Slovakia. The building will be constructed next to YIT’s area development project, STEIN2, in Bratislava city centre, and will have over 12,000 square metres of office space. The value of the contract for YIT is over EUR 12 million. The project will be started immediately and it will be completed in autumn 2017.

YIT started the construction of the significant area development project, STEIN2, in autumn 2015. The project will be constructed on the outskirts of the Old Town of Bratislava, in the area of the former Stein brewery with respect for the old area and buildings. In addition to apartment buildings and commercial premises, new infrastructure, green areas and squares for public use will be constructed in the area. The apartment building project started in autumn and the office building project to be started now support each other in creating a new attractive area with versatile services. 

The STEIN2 area will have over 400 apartments and almost 30 commercial premises by 2020. The project has already proved successful due its strategic location, green areas and access to all public amenities.
