YIT chosen as the service provider for the Päivänkehrä school life-cycle project in co-operation with Caverion

YIT has signed an agreement with the City of Espoo on the life-cycle project of the Päivänkehrä school renovation and extension in Espoo, Finland. The project will be carried out in co-operation with Caverion, and its value for YIT is approximately EUR 14 million. The construction of the project will be started in autumn 2015, and it is due to be completed in summer 2017.

In its entirety, the Päivänkehrä school life-cycle project covers the renovation and extension of the school, and, after the site has been completed, its management, service and maintenance for a service period of 20 years. The aim of the project is to construct an energy-efficient building with maximized cost-efficiency throughout the life cycle, and to create a healthy, safe, comfortable and well-functioning learning environment.
