Lemminkäinen to repair road surfaces in Southern Finland

LEMMINKÄINEN TO REPAIR ROAD SURFACES IN SOUTHERN FINLAND 

Lemminkäinen and the Southeast Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment have signed an agreement on a project to resurface roads in southern Finland. The work will begin in April 2017 and be completed in September 2017. The contract value is approximately EUR 15 million. 

The project includes resurfacing and restructuring work, with particular challenges posed by heavy traffic flows in the areas where the work will take place. The project will utilise Lemminkäinen’s broad-ranging expertise in road surfacing and will feature for example Remix surfaces and mixmilling sites. 

The total length of road to be repaired is approximately 280 kilometres.
