Lemminkäinen signs a contract for the construction work of Vermontie south in Finland

LEMMINKÄINEN SIGNS A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION WORK OF VERMONTIE SOUTH IN FINLAND

Lemminkäinen and the City of Espoo have signed a contract on the construction work of Vermontie south and its minor streets. The construction work will begin in February 2017 and be completed at in October 2018. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 14.5 million. 

The contract will cover the construction and foundation reinforcement of Vermontie south and its minor streets. Some of Monikonpuro brook will be redirected, and three bridges will be constructed across Monikonpuro.  

The contract falls into the project of developing the Leppävaara area and constructing a new city district for 5,000 residents between Perkkaa and Vermo Race Track. The construction of Vermontie south will improve the traffic arrangements in the area.
