Lemminkäinen builds a residential building in Jyväskylä

LEMMINKÄINEN BUILDS A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN JYVÄSKYLÄ

Lemminkäinen is building a residential building on the Harjunkulma block in central Jyväskylä. The client is SATO-Rakennuttajat Oy, one of Finland's leading corporate investors in housing. The contract price is EUR 4.2 million. Construction work on the site began in March and is scheduled for completion in April 2014.

The building, As Oy Jyväskylän Harjunkartano, is a 6-storey residential building with 33 apartments and a 22-car garage. The apartments will have a combined floor space of 2,246.5 m2. "As Oy Jyväskylän Harjukartano is a continuation of Lemminkäinen's projects in central Jyväskylä and a fine example of such construction in the city centre area. The project is our third project in the new and modern Harjunkulma block," explains Heikki Turunen, Regional Director at Lemminkäinen.

Another construction project by Lemminkäinen, Oy Jyväskylän Harjunportti, is already in progress on the same plot, and it is scheduled for completion in November 2013. Lemminkäinen is also building As Oy Jyväskylän Väinönkatu 15, scheduled for completion in February 2014, on the same plot.
