Lemminkäinen wins contracts worth 16 million euros in Kotka, Finland

LEMMINKÄINEN WINS CONTRACTS WORTH 16 MILLION EUROS IN KOTKA, FINLAND

Lemminkäinen has won two contracts included in the construction project for the Eskola nursing home for the elderly in Kotka, Southeastern Finland. The first contract includes the construction of two new nursing homes with accommodation for 120 people requiring intensive nursing home care. The second contract comprises the renovation and expansion of the existing property that houses a home for the elderly. The finished property will have 90 assisted living units. The client is MVH-Asunnot Oy. The total value of the two contracts is about EUR 16 million. The work will commence in April 2012 and will be completed in September 2014.

The two contracts won by Lemminkäinen strengthen Lemminkäinen's position as a builder of nursing homes in the Southeastern Finland.
