Lemminkäinen to renovate Lyseon Lukio school in Lappeenranta, Finland

LEMMINKÄINEN TO RENOVATE LYSEON LUKIO SCHOOL IN LAPPEENRANTA, FINLAND

Lemminkäinen has been awarded a contract to renovate the main building of the Lyseon Lukio school located in central Lappeenranta. Construction work in the school building, which was originally built in the 1890s, includes extensive removal of hazardous substances, as well as the replacement of the roof, interior surfaces, fixtures and furnishings. Lemminkäinen is also the nominated subcontractor responsible for all electrical work in the project. The client in the project is the City of Lappeenranta. The total value of the contracts is more than EUR 4 million, and project completion is scheduled for July 2013.
