Lemminkäinen to construct a nursing home in Kouvola

LEMMINKÄINEN TO CONSTRUCT A NURSING HOME IN KOUVOLA

Lemminkäinen has been chosen as the turnkey contractor for the construction of a nursing home in Myllykoski, Kouvola, in south-eastern Finland. The customer is Tyvene Oy and the contract is valued at EUR 7.5 million. Electrical work is subcontracted to Lemminkäinen's Technical Building Services.

The project started in July 2012 and encompasses approximately 2,650 square metres of useful floor area and 61 apartments. The building is planned for completion by August 2013.

This project is significant to Lemminkäinen's business in the Kouvola region. Lemminkäinen has been the main contractor in similar projects, including the nursing home projects in Eskola in Kotka, in Marjoniemi in Kouvola, and in Hamina.
