Lemminkäinen divests Uusikaupunki business unit

LEMMINKÄINEN DIVESTS UUSIKAUPUNKI BUSINESS UNIT

Lemminkäinen has sold its technical building services unit in Uusikaupunki, which includes  industrial installation, servicing, contracting and maintenance services.

The business unit was acquired by Uudenkaupungin Rakennus-Putkitus Oy, which will continue and develop its operations in Uusikaupunki. The principal owners of the company are Joonatan Kulmala, Harri Putro and Mikko Taipalus.

"We are very satisfied with this solution, as the new owners will seamlessly continue customer service in the Vakka-Suomi region", comments Seppo Suvisalmi of Lemminkäinen.

The 19 employees of Lemminkäinen Technical Building Services in Uusimaa will enter the new owner's services as old employees. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price.
