Lemminkäinen builds three residential buildings in Turku

LEMMINKÄINEN BUILDS THREE RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN TURKU

Lemminkäinen is launching the construction of three apartment buildings, on the river Aurajoki in the centre of Turku. Commissioned by the housing companies As Oy Linnankatu 35b and As Oy Turun Aurajoen Helmi, the buildings will be built as a residential property development and construction project.  The six-storey building As Oy Turun Linnankatu 35b will have 35 apartments. Construction will begin in December, with the building due for completion at the end of 2013. Aurajoen Helmi will comprise two buildings, both six storeys high, with a total of 43 apartments, as well as premises for two business operators and a 46-car garage. Construction at the site, a neighbouring plot of Linnankatu 35b, will begin in December, with the buildings scheduled for completion at the end of 2014.

Lemminkäinen is currently closely involved in the development of central Turku. Aurajoen Helmi and Linnankatu 35b are accompanied by Asunto Oy Turun Mikontorni, a housing project that Lemminkäinen is building in the centre of Turku. Located only a few blocks from the Turku Market Square, the building is due for completion in December 2012. Mikontorni will house 37 apartments and business premises for one commercial operator.
