Lemminkäinen awarded a contract for an annex and alteration work to a service centre in Eurajoki

LEMMINKÄINEN AWARDED A CONTRACT FOR AN ANNEX AND ALTERATION WORK TO A SERVICE CENTRE IN EURAJOKI

Lemminkäinen will build an annex and carry out alteration work to Jokisimpukka, a service centre for the elderly in Eurajoki. The value of the contract is EUR 6.9 million, of which approximately 80 per cent is new construction and 20 per cent renovation.

The annex will increase the size of the premises of the service centre by 14,820 m3. These new premises will house a renovated health centre and new sheltered homes for 37 people. A new form of housing will be created, with three sheltered properties of 50 m2 designed for two people.

Lemminkäinen has been an active constructor in the municipality of Eurajoki for many years. This contract, which was awarded following competitive bidding, is Lemminkäinen’s third in this municipality in the last five years. The work will commence immediately and will be completed in February 2013.
