New contracts for Lemminkäinen in Helsinki

NEW CONTRACTS FOR LEMMINKÄINEN IN HELSINKI

Lemminkäinen is fitting out the service spaces excavated beneath the City
Center block in downtown Helsinki. The project is a natural continuation of the
excavation and fitting-out contracts carried out earlier by Lemminkäinen in the
downtown service tunnel, which connects with the service spaces now under
construction. The construction works are worth approx. EUR 6 million and the
client is Sponda Corporation. Work at the City Centre site began in March 2010
and will be completed in June 2011. 

Lemminkäinen is enlarging VR Group's train maintenance halls and constructing a
new machining hall at the Ilmala railway works in Helsinki. The combined value
of the contracts is approx. EUR 5 million. The project began in March and will
be completed by the end of this year. The works at Ilmala are an extension of
Lemminkäinen's long-standing partnership with VR Group. Among other projects
carried out for VR Group in recent years, Lemminkäinen has modernised a number
of main line stations. 

The project management contracts are being carried out by Lemminkäinen Infra Oy.
