Lemminkäinen's organisational structure changes on 1 January 2011

LEMMINKÄINEN'S ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE CHANGES ON 1 JANUARY 2011

Lemminkäinen continues to streamline its organisational structure. As of 1 January 2011, Lemminkäinen will be organised into three business sectors: Building Construction, Infrastructure Construction and Technical Building Services. The operations of Building Products will be transferred to the Infrastructure Construction business sector.

Earlier today, Lemminkäinen announced the divestment of its roofing business which has been part of the Building Products business sector. "We can identify synergies between concrete, environmental and sports construction, which are part of Building Products, and Infrastructure Construction. By utilising these synergies we strive to a more customer-oriented and cost-effective operations." says President & CEO Timo Kohtamäki.

"In 2010, we have streamlined our corporate structure in accordance with our strategy. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for our customers to do business with us. In addition, we want to improve the efficiency of our internal operations." says Kohtamäki.

As of the beginning of 2011, the members of Lemminkäinen's Executive Board will be Timo Kohtamäki, President & CEO; Henrik Eklund, Executive Vice President, Infrastructure Construction; Marcus Karsten, Executive Vice President, Technical Building Services; Tiina Mellas, Executive Vice President, HR and ICT; Tiina Mikander, Executive Vice President, Corporate Business Development; Jukka Terhonen, Executive Vice President, Building Construction and Robert Öhman, Chief Financial Officer.

Erkki Lönnrot, Executive Vice President of Building Products business sector, will continue in Lemminkäinen and will be responsible of assigned strategic projects. Lönnrot will report to Group's President & CEO Timo Kohtamäki.
