Lemminkäinen to construct a new apartment building in St. Petersburg

LEMMINKÄINEN TO CONSTRUCT A NEW APARTMENT BUILDING IN ST. PETERSBURG            

Lemminkäinen has purchased a plot of land on the Vasily Island, near the centre 
of St. Petersburg, to construct a new apartment building. The approx. 540-unit  
building will have a total floor area of 35,000 m2 and will be completed in     
autumn 2013.                                                                    

In accordance with its strategy, Lemminkäinen wants to take advantage of        
Russia's growing construction markets. The company aims to increase the volume  
of its own housing and non-residential building production along with           
traditional contracting work.                                                   

The new project is an excellent addition to Lemminkäinen's housing portfolio in 
St. Petersburg.                                                                 

The new building will offer high-quality apartments targeted at middle-class    
home buyers. Some of the apartments will be fully finished to European standards
and some will be left with bare surfaces for finishing by the new owners.       
Special attention has been given to energy efficiency in the design solutions.  
Lemminkäinen's international building construction company, Lemminkäinen Talo Oy
