Sales and marketing of Platon waterproofing products transferred to Lemminkäinen Katto Oy

Lemminkäinen Katto Oy and Isola-Platon Oy have made a co-operation agreement whereby the marketing of Platon products will be transferred to Lemminkäinen in September 2009. Isola-Platon Oy will discontinue its operations in Finland at the end of August.

At the beginning of September Lemminkäinen Katto Oy will start selling and marketing the Platon products manufactured by the Norwegian company Isola as. The aim of the collaboration is to strengthen Lemminkäinen Katto Oy’s position on the Finnish market for waterproofing products and to offer customers new products and solutions.

Isola’s product range includes, among others, Platon Xtra waterproofing system for foundation walls, Baros foundation wall panels, Platon underlays for floors, Platon RadonStop system, Isola mouse strip and Nittedal underlay for turf roofs. The Platon products complement Lemminkäinen Katto Oy extensive range of high-quality products. The agreement will improve the availability of Platon products in Finland, and is expected to be followed by a gradual expansion of the product portfolio.

Isola-Platon Oy’s Peter Johansson will stay on as an employee the parent company, Isola as. He will be based at Lemminkäinen Katto Oy’s Tuusula location.
