LEMMINKÄINEN TO BUILD A SHOPPING CENTRE IN IMATRA

Lemminkäinen Group's Oka Oy is to build the Rajamarket shopping centre in
Imatra. Rajamarket and Lidl Suomi stores will be located in the building, which
will have a gross floor area of 6 000 m².

Situated in the Mansikkala district of Imatra, the Rajamarket shopping centre
will be the first element of what will become a retail park, i.e. an
out-of-town concentration of retail warehouses and superstores with associated
car parking. The area is already of centre for supermarkets and serves customer
arriving in Imatra from both Finland and Russia. 

”The retail park will now start to be formed around Rajamarket. It will provide
employment for the people of Imatra not only in the construction phase but also
when the stores open for business,” says Regional Director Vesa Lipsanen of
Oka. 

Construction work will begin in August and the stores will open their doors to
customers in April 2010.
