LEMMINKÄINEN ACQUIRES THE SITE OF PAULIG´S OLD ROASTERY IN VUOSAARI

Paulig Oy and Lemminkäinen Group's Oy Alfred A. Palmberg Ab have agreed on the
sale of Paulig's old roastery site to Oy Alfred A. Palmberg Ab. The site will
be vacated when Paulig's roastery moves to new premises in the Vuosaari Harbour
Business Park during autumn 2009. Planning work for the site will begin
immediately and construction is expected to start during 2010. Paulig will
start dismantling the old plant in January 2010.

”The area has been zoned as a high-class residential area for approx. 2,000
residents and it will form an extension of the construction at Aurinkolahti.
The character of Vuosaari's centre will be transformed. A verdant boulevard
will stretch from the Columbus shopping centre to the seashore,” says Arto
Jokinen, the director responsible for Oy Alfred A. Palmberg Ab's residential
construction.

”We are very pleased that the buyer is a Finnish construction company known for
high-quality work, and that we were able to sell the whole area to a single
company,” say Real Estate Manager Ari Partanen and Group Treasurer Riitta
Helaniemi of Paulig Oy.

Lemminkäinen Group´s Lemcon Ltd is acting as the project management contractor
for Paulig´s new roastery.

Pleasant residential area close to the metro and sea

The site of Paulig's old roastery is centrally located in the Aurinkolahti
district of Vuosaari near the sea, and within easy reach of the metro line and
services. According to the approved city plan, the site has residential
building rights totalling 71,000 square metres. The site will be divided into
four blocks, where altogether 16 apartment buildings will provide housing for
some 2,000 people in a pleasant park-like environment featuring spacious
courtyards and squares. Car parking will be located underground. The areas in
between the blocks will be open to everyone and some commercial premises will
be located there.
